The construction technique demands of the geogrid
 

The spreading surface should be even. After it is checked and accepted, in order to avoid the vertical deflection, line out the while line or the seton in the spreading surface according to the width, spread it, and then fix the end of the geogrid by the iron nail (8 nails per meter in width).

After fixing the end of the geogrid, use the spreading machine drawing and spreading forward, strain and make it straight by manpower when spreading per 10m till spreading a reel of geogrid. The following operation is the same when spreading others.

After spreading a reel, use the 6T-10T road roller grinding the total road. (If it is spread on the middle plane, it is best to use steel-roller road roller; if it is spread on the concrete road, it is best to use the glue-roller road roller).

Constant spreading: Take the length of the reel as the spreading section, after spreading, inspect the spreading quality completely, and then spread the following section. Keep 10-15cm between two grids, fix it by the iron nail or the chock, continue to spread the second section.

 


 

Use method of the 3D Geomat

Put a piece of pole or stick into the whole roll of net pad, draw out the net pad, and fix the surrounding by the dowel, plastic nail, or the U-shape iron nail, with 30cm space between two nails, and 4 nails per m2.

The nail is about 15cm (distance with the ground). Prolong the nail on the loosen earth surface. In the high slope spreading, the nail is longer used in the upgrade than that used in the downgrade.

Pay attention to keep the even of the net pad and increase the density of the nail where the landform is changed suddenly and composite.

Pay attention to the related joint. The length of the related joint is 2cm. In the related joint, the nail should be tacked in the order, the density should be doubled, and the upper net pad of the related joint should be close up with each other without gap.

The shape of the nail: the upper width of the nail should be 2 times larger than the mesh diameter to bring the vertically pressing function.

The seeding depth of the grass-seed should be according to the soil. Select the grass-seed which adapt at the local weather conditions, with strong and long root system.

The grass-seed is planting in the net pad, which can strengthen the effect of the compound protection.

After seeding the grass-seed, the covering depth of the surface soil should cover the net pad preventing it from the sunshine to prolong its service life. And pay attention to making it good for the burgeon and growth of the grass-seed.

After planting the grass-seed, the liquid water content in the soil horizon should be 40%-60%. And the grass-seed was added pressure under the soil horizon, which is good for the grass-seed to come up. When spreading the net pad on the top of the slope protection, there should be 60°angle in the vertical joint embedding 30cm into the soil. And the gradient should be 50cm over the horizontal. Because the liquid water content in the upper is less than in the underlayer in the engineering slope, which is bad for the burgeon of the grass-seed, dig a sluice slot on the top of the slope 20cm over the net pad to be good for the irrigation.

The spreading time is the key of the whole engineering (using to protect the slope). Generally select 3-4 months before the rainy season, which gives a growth time for the greensward.

 

 

 


Construction methods of the geocell
 

Undraw the folded geocell (spread some fiber material under the geocell according to the concrete situation of the groundsill, such as the geocloth and felt pad, etc).
Fix it by the nail or joint with the stretcher framework.

Fill the granular material by the shovel loader till the material is full and surpass the top of the geocell, and then carry through the vibration or lamination.

The geocell system can support various construction equipments. The equipment can construct on the geocell directly and finish the basis according to the normal standard.
